Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has never been afraid to call his teammates out. It’s one of the traits he learned from former teammate and Hall of Famer Brett Favre.
That came out in a big way following Green Bay’s training camp practice session on Tuesday. Immediately after leaving the field, Rodgers took to the media as a way to blast his team.
Well then, tell us how you really feel.
Primarily, Rodgers was calling out youngsters on the offensive side of the ball while indicating that they should follow the examples set forth by veterans Davante Adams and Randall Cobb.
It’s a stark reminder that Rodgers is the face of the Packers’ franchise. He’s not going to sit back and ignore his teammates giving “piss poor” efforts, even if it is during summer camp. That’s what sets the former MVP apart from the others.
