Patrick McCaw hasn’t played a minute in the NBA this season while holding out from the Golden State Warriors, but that might change soon.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the guard has signed a two-year, $6 million offer sheet with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Previously, a report noted Golden State planned to match any offer sheet. However, McCaw hadn’t received one because that expectation made NBA teams hesitant.
The proverbial ball is now in the Warriors’ court.
Since they’ve struggled with depth so far in 2018-19, it sure is about time the franchise brings back McCaw. The 23-year-old could immediately become a piece in their rotation and offer a three-point threat.
Plus, this is a no-lose situation for Cleveland. Either the Cavs get a chance to see if McCaw can earn a reserve role, or a bad team stays just as bad.
No matter the outcome, McCaw will be returning to the court soon.
