It might have been delayed a little bit, but the long-awaited return of Stephen Curry from a hand injury could soon come to fruition.
The Golden State Warriors announced on Monday that they have assigned the two-time NBA champion to their G-League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
This is a clear indication that Golden State expects to get Curry back at some point soon. At this point, it’s all about conditioning.
Curry, 31, has been out since suffering a broken left hand back in Oct. 30. He’s suited up in just four games this season.
As for the Warriors, they head into this week’s action with a league-worst 13-48 mark. There’s no rush to get Curry back on the court.
