Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips paid homage to his father, legendary NFL coach Bum Phillips, on Super Bowl Sunday.
Phillips left the team hotel wearing a cowboy hat with Bum’s trademark sheepskin coat draped over his hat.

Phillips, who’s been one of the most entertaining players or coaches all week long in Atlanta, also paid homage to his father on traveling day as the Rams flew into Atlanta.

If the Rams do win Super Bowl LIII, Phillips’ ability to scheme the team’s defense will be a huge reason why. And much of what he does revolves around what his father did when he coached.
