The New Mexico State Aggies are currently experiencing a failure to launch in their first game of the 2018 college football season against Wyoming.
New Mexico State went into the locker room at halftime staring some intensely ghastly numbers, including one first down, three total yards, nine penalties and a 15-0 hole.
Until the final drive of the half, which led to the team’s only first down, the Aggies had managed minus-11 yards.
Many people have been high on Wyoming’s defense this entire offseason.

It was about as ugly as it gets, and fans watching at home were eager to share their opinions.

The New Mexico State coach is named Doug Martin, and every time these announcers say his name I get a little more sad

Starting to think putting it all on New Mexico State this season may have been an unforced error.

New Mexico State looks worse on offense than any football team I can ever remember watching. This is painful.
