Whoever said that pitchers can’t hit never told Archie Bradley. With two on in the seventh inning, The Arizona Diamondbacks reliever delivered a two run triple to stun the Colorado Rockies.

As expected, Twitter exploded when that happened.

Welcome to instant stardom, Archie Bradley's beard. #NLWildCard #Dbacks

I guess this means at least another year with no DH in the National League. Thanks, Archie Bradley.

The hit gained extra significance when we remember that it was against Pat Neshek, one of baseball’s best relief pitchers.
Neshek allowed only 5 extra-base hits all season against his slider. Make that 6 after pitcher, Archie Bradley, hits a triple! #WildCard

It’s also important to remember that Neshek is frequently called upon to retire the best hitters on the opposing team.
Archie Bradley. Put him in the AZ sports hall of fame TONIGHT.

After seeing this, it’s hard to argue.
