The Washington Redskins needed a spark. Down by four points against the defending Super Bowl champs on Monday night after watching Colt McCoy leave for the locker room while Mark Sanchez came into the game to replace him. Old man Adrian Peterson provided that spark, and then some.
Watch this incredible run. Ninety yards to the house.
Don’t worry, Mark Sanchez. Adrian Peterson has got this.

Nobody could catch Peterson once he hit that second level. Showing the wheels of a man 10 years younger, he burned the entire Philly defense and gave Washington a lead in the process.
He also set some NFL history with this run.

Seriously, though, you guys. With Mark Sanchez and Adrian Peterson, this Washington team is going to be really tough in the 2009 NFC Championship Game.

“Redskins QB Mark Sanchez handing off to Adrian Peterson for the 90 yard touchdown run,” is something nobody ever thought would be an English sentence
