This could very well spell the end of his career in a Rockies uniform. There has been a ton of speculation in recent months that Colorado will look to trade its franchise player in the offseason. This speculation has not been quieted by Tulowitzki, who has repeatedly indicated that he’s not happy with the direction of the franchise.Â
Tulowitzki is currently leading MLB with a .340 batting average on the season.
While there promises to be a ton of interest in Tulowitzki should the Rockies put him on the trade block this winter, it’s important to note that 2014 represents the third consecutive season that the shortstop has been on the disabled list for an extended period of time.
