As quarterbacks shine across the country, Penn State Nittany Lions quarterback Trace McSorley continued his stretch of consistent excellence on Friday
Midway through the second quarter with the Nittany Lions leading 14-7 over Syracuse, McSorley hooked up with freshman tight end Pat Freiermuth for the five-yard touchdown pass. It marked McSorley’s 32nd consecutive game with a touchdown pass.

The senior’s touchdown streak extended the longest active record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass.
After Saquon Barkley’s exit to the NFL this offseason, McSorley is now carrying the offense and has helped lead them to an undefeated record.
The Nittany Lions will need his touchdown streak to continue if they want to make it to the final four and have a chance at the BCS National Championship Game at the end of the season.
