Tom Brady hopes he gets to throw more touchdowns to Rob Gronkowski

Tom Brady doesn’t seem ready to give up hope that Rob Gronkowski will come back at some point and rejoin the New England Patriots.

Gronkowski, who retired last week, finished his career having caught 78 touchdown passes from Brady. The NFL (on Instagram) noted that Gronk’s total was twice as many as any other player who’s caught passes from Brady.

Brady saw this post, and commented on it: “I hope 78 isn’t the final number,” he wrote.

For what it’s worth, Gronkowski’s own agent wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up coming back to play with Brady and the gang at some point later this coming season.
