Kevin Dodd’s brief two-year tenure with the Tennessee Titans has come to an abrupt end. After he failed to report to training camp earlier this week, Tennessee has officially released the 2016 second-round pick.

Dodd, 26, remained away from off-season activities after the Titans selected fellow EDGE rusher Harold Landry in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Obviously, the Clemson product was not happy with that decision.
The release comes after Dodd recorded a grand total of 12 tackles and one sack while playing 270 snaps during that span.
This is the culmination of a disastrous situation that saw Tennessee select Dodd 33rd overall just over two years ago.
In retrospect, picking the defender up ahead of the likes of Myles Jack, Sterling Shepard, Michael Thomas and Deion Jones proved to be a major mistake by the Titans.
