Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger has switched agents. This move highlights his continued dissatisfaction with his current situation as the projected backup to rookie Marcus Mariota.
Terry McCormick of Titans Insider reported the news, per the NFLPA:
Per NFLPA record, Zach Mettenberger has switched from agent Joe Linta to CAA, now represented by Tom Condon and Jimmy Sexton.

Tom Condon is one of the true heavy hitters in the sports agent industry. The former NFL player was ranked as the No. 3 most powerful agents in the world by Forbes.com last year, with an estimated $1.3 billion in player contracts in 2014.
This move by Mettenberger puts into focus his frustration with Tennessee.
Before the 2015 NFL Draft, the quarterback had been leading and organizing workouts outside of team activities. He was preparing to be the starting quarterback for the Titans, and then the organization pulled the rug out from under him by drafting Mariota (from his perspective).
Mettenberger recently made headlines when he told media he’d fight Mariota for the starting spot “to the death.” However, making the move to switch agents signifies the former LSU Tiger may be more interested in being traded, something that was rumored immediately after the draft.
There are still a few teams that could use a quarterback, and Mettenberger could certainly develop into a quality starter if given the opportunity. The New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns are all having open competitions this summer for their quarterback spots.
This will be an interesting development to keep track of as the offseason continues.
