Tiger Woods looked like Tiger Woods this weekend for the first time in a very long time.
He finished in second place at the Valspar Championship, utilizing a tremendous third round and then a clutch putt on the 17th hole from 44 feet away to finish at 9-under par for the tournament (watch here).
The atmosphere at Innisbrook was electric as Woods charged up the leaderboard this weekend — everyone loved seeing Woods in contention. The veteran golfer and former No. 1 player in the world flashed his signature smile on more than one occasion, just soaking it all in.
On Sunday evening after the dust settled on the entertaining weekend, Woods took to his Twitter account, thanking everyone for their support.
Wow, what an amazing week…people, atmosphere, adrenaline, back nine on Sunday, man I’ve missed this. Getting better. Thank you for all the support!

We can all agree that golf is better when Woods is at his best. He’s not quite there just yet, but he’s rounding into peak form at just the right time with the Masters right around the corner. This development is so great for the game of golf, and we can’t wait to see what Woods does in his next chapter.
