The Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are down to two quarterbacks after cutting Dustin Vaughan and Jameill Showers. This leaves only backup quarterback Brandon Weeden sitting behind starter Tony Romo.
Adding Tebow—who could be an asset in two-point conversion situations—this year is an intriguing thought. The Cowboys had the fourth-highest scoring offense in 2014 for which 56 extra points after touchdowns (PAT’s) were attempted last season. Imagine Tebow being utilized to rush in some extra two-pointers this coming season.
Additionally, if something should happen to Romo, Weeden isn’t necessarily the most reliable backup option. Even he doesn’t want to consider what would happen if the ‘Boys had to call him into action this season.
In Weeden’s one start last year for the Cowboys when Romo was sidelined with a back injury, the Cowboys lost. Weeden only completed 58.5 percent of his passes and threw two interceptions along the way.
With the Cowboys desperately needing depth beyond Weeden, there are worse options the team could turn to other than young, durable Tebow.
See, Cowboys fans are already thinking the same thing.

Surely, Tebow won’t remain without a team for long, right?
