There’s a problem with the Oakland Raiders. It’s so bad that even Jon Gruden is acknowledging it publicly. The problem is…a skunk.
In speaking with reporters on Wednesday, Gruden talked about an actual skunk that had gotten loose at Raiders headquarters.
Jon Gruden just said a skunk got loose in the Raiders locker room this week. So yeah, not great times in Oakland right now.

Reporter: "Did you see the skunk?"
Gruden: "You don't have to see a skunk, you know?"— Lindsay Jones (@bylindsayhjones) September 12, 2018
Gruden: “We had a short week, no sleep and a wild skunk in our building. … It’s a smell I still can’t get out of my face.” 😷

Making matters worse, the problem has not been solved.
Also, Gruden said they didn’t find the skunk. Gross.
🚨 ROGUE SKUNK IN OAKLAND! 🚨

Say what you will about the man as a coach. But he is a quote machine. Also, depending on how long the skunk has been there, this might put Khalil Mack’s decision to hold out into a different perspective.
You just can’t make this stuff up. We can only imagine Gruden leading his players on expeditions to find the rogue skunk.
This has already been an incredibly bizarre season for Oakland. Frankly, we can’t wait to see what happens next. When we use our imaginations, the possibilities are endless.
Anyone who watched Monday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams would have to agree that the Raiders stunk in the second half. This might explain that problem.
