The Texas Longhorns have hooked receiver Paxton Anderson, who happens to be the grandson of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Anderson announced his decision to commit to Texas with a message on Twitter Monday:
Per College Football Talk, Anderson will be a preferred walk-on for Tom Herman’s program in 2020. During his high school years at Highland Park, he helped the team win three straight state championships as a key offensive weapon.
Jones is famously a huge Arkansas supporter, having been on the 1964 national championship Razorbacks squad. One of his grandsons committed at Arkansas in 2018, too.
Now, Jones may have to deal with some split loyalties given This grandson’s decision.
