Team Falcons rallied to a 2-1 victory over BetBoom Team on Thursday to advance to the grand final at the $1 million BetBoom Dacha Dubai event in the United Arab Emirates.
BetBoom Team recorded a 50-minute win on green to open the upper-bracket final before Team Falcons responded with a flourish. The Falcons posted 43- and 29-minute triumphs on green to advance at the Dota 2 tournament.
Team Falcons will play in the grand final on Friday against the winner of the lower-bracket final pitting BetBoom Team against Team Liquid.
Team Liquid punched their ticket to that contest with a 2-0 sweep of Azure Ray, courtesy of 33- and 40-minute victories on green.
The double-elimination playoff stage runs through Friday. All matches are best of three except for the best-of-five grand final.
