The Buffalo Bills have to be over the whole ambulance on the football field thing. Safety Taylor Rapp is the latest to fall victim to a scary situation during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
Rapp exited the game in an ambulance after being on the receiving end of a violent hit from teammate Taron Johnson in an attempt to make a tackle on Jets running back Breece Hall.
As you will see below, Rapp initially got up and started toward the sideline before collapsing on the field. It was a scary scene in Western New York.
Pretty much the entire Buffalo Bills team surrounded Taylor Rapp as he was put on a stretcher and loaded on to the ambulance. The good news? Rapp did provide a thumbs up before he was taken to a local hospital.
Even then, to see a player collapse on that field had to be haunting for Bills players. It was back in January that safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He had to be given CPR before being loaded on to an ambulance.
At the very least, it does seem as if Rapp had feeling in his extremities. That doesn’t take away from just how scary the scene was in Buffalo Sunday evening.
