Following the devastating impacts felt by Hurricane Dorian, Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton announced he will donate $100K towards various relief efforts to help with the recovery.
Ayton, a native of the Bahamas, announced on Twitter that it will just be one of the many steps he is taking to help the country after the hurricane devastated the lives of thousands.
Ayton is asking for further help from the Suns fan base by asking those in the Phoenix area to come and donate supplies to the people in the Bahamas. He will be revealing more details on how fans can help in the near future.
He joins Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield, also a native of the Bahamas, in efforts to help the country with donations.
