New York Giants receiver Sterling Shepard is not likely to play Thursday night against the New England Patriots after once again suffering concussion-like symptoms.
Shepard missed a game earlier this year due to a concussion, and he once again is in the league’s concussion protocol.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media notes it’s “likely” Shepard will be out for Thursday night’s game, and of course given the fact it’s his second concussion in less than a month Shepard may be out much longer.
Appearing in four games this season for the Giants, Shepard has caught 25 passes for 267 yards and one touchdown.
