Not surprisingly, the Pittsburgh Steelers placed an exclusive franchise tag on Pro Bowl running back Le’Veon Bell. This means he can only negotiate with the Steelers and, if that fails, he will earn $14.5 million under his franchise tender in 2018.
With Bell’s threats of holding out and retirement looming, the Twitter world has plenty to say about his situation with the Steelers. Here are some of the best offerings hitting the internet.
Jarvis Landry is making more than Le'Veon Bell…. Let that sink in.

Over the last two seasons, Le'Veon Bell officially has gotten more franchise tags than the Browns have gotten wins.

Running backs are traditionally replaceable, Le’Veon bell is also demanding WR2 like money which is the reason for no long term deal.

I don't know about you, but Le'veon Bell is coming off extremely selfish. The gap between the contract he could've accepted last year at $13.3 Mil/Year would've dropped Devonta Freeman as the second highest paid RB at $8.25 Mil/Year.

After skipping training camp last year, #Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell totaled "just" 236 yards and 1 TD over his first 3 games.
Then he racked up 1,710 total yards and 10 TDs over his final 12 games.
