It was reported earlier on Tuesday that four members of the Brooklyn Nets tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

We now have more information on this. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, injured Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is among them.

Durant was on a road trip with his Nets team take on his former Golden State Warriors squad in San Francisco last week before the NBA suspended its season. We have no idea how or where he contracted the virus.

As the United States and broader world continue to grapple with the impact of the pandemic, those around the sports world showered Durant with support and reacted to Tuesday’s news.
