A Minnesota furniture store took direct aim at New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton in an advertisement as a clever way to take a shot at the coach and drum up business at the same time.
Let us know if you want to be comfy, coach. 😉 #MinneapolisMiracle #ouryear pic.twitter.com/h6YE4MDldY

Of course, this was in direct response to Payton mocking the team’s “SKOL” chant just before the Vikings ripped the heart out of the Saints with the Minnesota Miracle.

Now, after likely being bombarded on social media, Payton has turned this situation into something pretty sweet, indeed.
Ok, enough already. I want the couch! But it's to be donated to @childrensmn along with 25k via @thomasmorstead foundation. Pulling for Zim and @Vikings.#Skol#recovering
Feeling better already.— Sean Payton (@SeanPayton) January 19, 2018
Of course International Design agreed to Payton’s request.
That's the MN nice wearing off on you coach! We will donate that sofa to @childrensmn for you, no problem!

And the best part about this is that it ties into what has been a remarkable turn of events for Saints punter Thomas Morstead. Vikings fans have been donating money to his foundation, What You Give Will Grow, as a way to give him props for playing through a very painful rib injury during the Divisional Round Game.
Now, thanks to Payton and International Design, we can tack another $25,000 to that growing tally, which will be used to fund a Minneapolis-area hospital.
