New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton saw his team lose to the San Francisco 49ers by two points Sunday, and then encountered a bitter fan at Whole Foods afterward.
As Payton shared, he was at Whole Foods when a fan asked him about the failed two-point conversion in the first half.
“Worry about your freakin’ meat.” That’s freakin’ epic.
Payton has plenty to be riled up about. But that two-point conversion is likely low on the list. He was furious when the 49ers got away with what many thought was pass interference on a fake punt — only the rules state there is no pass interference on punts.
Even more concerning, Payton’s defense was shredded to bits by a 49ers team that piled up 516 yards during the 48-46 game.
