San Francisco 49ers teammates Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey were rewarded in style for their incredible seasons Thursday.
Purdy and McCaffrey were honored as FedEx Air Player of the Year and FedEx Ground Player of the Year, respectively, becoming the first teammates to sweep the awards in the 21-year history of the program.
As award recipients, the San Francisco 49ers tandem received something more than just another trophy to put on their mantle. They got something to put on their bodies.
Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, designed custom jackets for the two players to commemorate their achievement. And Kyle Juszczyk presented the jackets to his teammates.
The jackets have their names and their achievements sewn onto them, in addition to the number “58” in reference to Super Bowl LVIII, which takes Sunday between their 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

In his NFL second season, Purdy set a 49ers franchise record for passing yards (4,280) and led all NFL quarterbacks in passer rating (113.0), while McCaffrey was the NFL leader in all-purpose yards (2,023), rushing yards (1,459), and touchdowns (21).
Kristin Juszczyk, a fashion designer, has made a name for herself with jackets she created for Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes, Simone Biles and actor Tyler Lautner, among others.
She even made one for 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel.
