According to a report by Variety Magazine’s Justin Kroll, UFC champion righter Ronda Rousey will be starring in a Patrick Swayze’s role during a remake of 1980’s hit movie “Road House.”
Before signing on to play the role, Rousey reached out to Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi to gain her blessing, which she happily provided, according to Kroll.

In the original “Road House” movie starring Swayze, he played a bouncer named Dalton who was hired to clean up one of the most corrupt and rowdiest bars in Missouri.
For Rousey, starring in that role will be her largest acting job to date. After appearing in a cameo last year in “The Expendables 3”, Rousey has also been seen this year in “Furious 7” and in the movie “Entourage.”
It Rousey’s remake movie really takes off, we can only assume what her new career path might be once she hangs up the boxing gloves for good.
