The Colorado Rockies agreed to contract terms with right-hander Dakota Hudson and catcher Jacob Stallings on Friday.
Both free agents landed one-year deals. Terms were not disclosed.
Hudson, 29, has spent his entire six-year career with the St. Louis Cardinals. He is 38-20 with a 3.84 ERA in 114 games (79 starts).
Stallings, 34, is a former Gold Glove winner with eight seasons of experience with the Pittsburgh Pirates (2016-21) and Miami Marlins (2022-23). He is a career .235 hitter with 24 homers and 148 RBIs in 451 games.
The Rockies cleared room on the 40-man roster by outrighting infielder Alan Trejo to Triple-A and placing catcher Brian Serven on waivers. Serven was claimed by the Chicago Cubs.
