New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was seen having a drink while conversing with Judge Richard M. Berman, who recently vacated Tom Brady’s four-game suspension, at a party in the Hamptons this Labor Day weekend.
@PatsFans Here's the sleazy link and be sure to read names under photo. Many think that's Kraft w/Berman. http://t.co/6Cm0bNG5pN

Was this pure coincidence, or are the two partying it up in celebration after defeating NFL commissioner Roger Goodell?
According to a representative for the Patriots, via NYPost.com’s Page Six, this was just a happy accident.
“It was a chance encounter at a social event with hundreds of guests. There was a brief introduction and an exchange of pleasantries that lasted no more than a couple of minutes.”
The party was hosted by Discovery Communications chief David Zaslav, who was joined by a veritable cornucopia of elite celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Harvey Weinstein, Lloyd Blankfeinrich, NY Giants co-owner Jon Tisch and wife Lizzie, Katie Couric, and Hilaria and Alec Baldwin, per the report.
They were all serenaded by legendary performer Harry Connick Jr., who treated the crowd to New Orleans Jazz, complete with a full band.
Why don’t I ever get invited to these shindigs?
Oh well, there’s always next time.
In the meantime, seeing Kraft and Judge Berman, side by side with drinks in hand, was amusing enough to tide me over until that treasured invite arrives.
