If asked who you think the best weapon the Washington Redskins have on their team, running back Alfred Morris is probably not the name that would come to mind first. Just don’t tell quarterback Robert Griffin III that.
RGIII: Alfred Morris is Redskins' biggest weapon http://t.co/scwjWtlPeg

RGIII had this to say to the team’s official website (h/t NFL.com)
I think everyone would lean towards DeSean or Pierre (Garcon) or Jordan Reed. I think it’s (running back) Alfred (Morris). With him, defenses have to make a decision whether to put guys in the box to stop him or leave the box light and allow Alfred to go between the tackles and lure in the safeties. I think it will be interesting to see what defenses do against him.
Morris has been quite effective in his past two seasons with the Redskins, tallying up 2,888 rushing yards on 611 attempts and scoring 20 touchdowns. While Morris is getting it done on the ground, expect plenty of air attack under Jay Gruden, who had Andy Dalton throwing the ball 500-plus times during each of his first three years.
The Redskins have nowhere to go but up after finishing 2013 with a 3-13 record, so they’ll be quite the team to monitor this year.
