Rickie Fowler sinks ace for autism research

Rickie Fowler got off to a blazing start at the 2017 U.S. Open

Rickie Fowler is one of the best golfers in the world, and on Monday he hit a fantastic shot for a wonderful cause.

At an Els for Autism fundraiser, Fowler stepped up to the tee and holed out from 111 yards. The best part? His hole-in-one raised $1 million for the foundation.

Ernie Els, who has an autistic son and has been active in his fight for autism research for years, understandably gave Fowler high praise.

Fowler, who was also blown away by what happened, posted a up close video of the reaction to the ace.

Indeed, that is a fantastic achievement.

Fowler has already hit some big shots in his career and will no doubt go on to hit many others, but it’s hard to imagine many being as important or as memorable as this one.
