Richard Sherman and the San Francisco 49ers’ defense has the unenviable task of taking on a red-hot Kansas City Chiefs offense this coming Sunday.
Second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes torched the Pittsburgh Steelers to the tune of six touchdown passes last week, leaving fans and the media in complete shock during the process.
In looking to find any way to stop the Chiefs’ offensive attack, Sherman himself had one heck of a quote. It covered how Pittsburgh’s defense struggled last week. And it’s just brilliant.
Richard Sherman on Steelers vs. Chiefs: "I think they made it way too complicated. (Patrick Mahomes) made great plays and great throws, but there were a lot of guys running scot-free, buck-naked wide open." #49ers

Sherman is right. The last thing we want to see is football players running buck-naked on the field. It’s supposed to be a family-friendly game.
On a serious note, Sherman’s task Sunday in Arrowhead will be to help an unproven but talented 49ers secondary overcome the magic that is Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. He’ll look to make sure Kansas City’s receivers are covered in more than jerseys and pants.
