The Atlanta Falcons are signing linebacker Bud Dupree to a one-year contract, multiple outlets reported Friday.
NFL Network said the deal is worth up to $5 million.
Tennessee released the 30-year-old pass rusher in a salary-slashing move last month.
Dupree had just seven sacks in two seasons and 22 games (17 starts) for the Titans. He posted 39.5 sacks in six seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who selected him No. 22 overall in the 2015 draft.
Dupree also has 266 tackles, 10 forced fumbles and 82 quarterback hits in 103 career games (83 starts) with the two teams.
His signing is the latest move to upgrade the defense in Atlanta, which also traded for cornerback Jeff Okudah and signed safety Jessie Bates, linebacker Kaden Elliss and defensive linemen Calais Campbell and David Onyemata.
