Ivica Zubac is getting paid.

The Los Angeles Clippers agreed to a three-year extension with the center worth $33 million, according to multiple reports Tuesday. ESPN’s report cites Zubac’s agents, Jeff Schwartz and Mike Lindeman of Excel Sports, as confirming the deal.

The Clippers had previously declined the $7.5 million team option on Zubac’s contract, which paved the way to negotiate a long-term — and more lucrative deal — with the Croatian center.

Zubac, 25, has mostly been a starter for the Clippers since arriving to the team in a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019. In four seasons with the Clippers, Zubac has started in 204 of the 246 games he has played.

The 7-footer is coming off his most productive NBA season, averaging career bests in points (10.3), rebounds (8.5), assists (1.6) and blocks (1.0) per game in the 2021-22 campaign. He also shot above 61 percent from the floor for the third straight year.

Zubac just completed his seventh NBA season. He was drafted by the Lakers 32nd overall in 2016.

He is the second Clipper to sign an extension this offseason, joining wing Robert Covington.
