Cleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit agreed to a contract extension, multiple media outlets reported Sunday morning.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed for Delpit, who signed a four-year, $7.46 million contract prior to his rookie season in 2020.
Delpit, 25, has recorded 74 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and a half-sack in 12 games (all starts) this season.
He has overcome an Achilles injury that cost him his entire rookie season by totaling 245 tackles, six picks and 1.5 sacks in 44 career games (35 starts). He was selected by the Browns in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
