After a very strange incident in which he was arrested and videotaped, naked and bloody while fighting with his brother, Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones will reportedly not face any charges.
TMZ Sports reports the Los Angeles District Attorney as saying there was insufficient evidence to charge Jones for vandalism in this case.
Jones was originally arrested after the bizarre incident, which reportedly involved him trying to leap out of a glass window from 30 stories up. He was then placed in the medical ward of the Los Angeles County Jail before being released into the care of his family on Wednesday.
It’s unclear exactly what prompted the entire thing, but thankfully nobody was injured badly and Jones is said to be doing okay now. The NFL will almost certainly continue investigating this incident, but as far as the law is concerned Jones is in the clear.
