It was reportedly earlier on Friday that the Cleveland Browns and free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant have mutual interest in one another. They’re said to be discussing a one-year deal with the two sides slated to potentially meet early next week.
This news was replaced later Friday by Bryant himself going on a Twitter rant directed at Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former teammate Sean Lee (more here).
Now comes this note from NFL Media’s Jane Slater indicating that another unnamed team is interested in signing Bryant and is unfazed by his Twitter rant.

Up until the Browns’ interest became public record, Bryant had mostly been linked to the San Francisco 49ers. In reaching out to people within the organization, we couldn’t get an answer one way or another. What we do know is that San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan has continually stated that he’s happy with the team’s receiver group.
Outside of that, it’s anyone’s guess who might be interested in Bryant outside of the Browns.
With training camps having started around the NFL, Bryant will almost assuredly sign with a team here soon.
