Officially, Osuna has been charged with one count of assault on a woman, per Lott. The woman has not been identified for her own protection, and at this point the details of the alleged assault are not available.
“Constable Sidhu said police would not release the location or nature of the incident, ‘not because he’s a baseball player,’ but because in all cases of this type, such details might lead to the identity of the woman, which is protected.”
MLB will certainly look into this incident, regardless of what ends up happening on the legal front.
