The Tennessee Titans have been strongly linked to free agent Tom Brady, but they reportedly are not interested at all in signing him. Rather, they’re “working hard to get a deal done with Ryan Tannehill,” per Dianna Russini of ESPN.
The rumors swirling around Brady this offseason have been constant, but recently a report emerged indicating his market might be much smaller than anyone realizes. This report seems to bolster that notion.
That Tennessee wants Tannehill back shouldn’t come as a surprise. Still relatively young at the age of 31, he had a breakout season last year once he took over the offense midway through the campaign, leading the Titans to the playoffs while sparking the offense in a big way.
As it relates to Brady, he will still have some big opportunities to sign with teams that need a quarterback, and we have a few ideas about where he might fit best.
