Report: Spurs’ Zach Collins signs 2-year, $35M extension

San Antonio Spurs center/forward Zach Collins agreed to a two-year, $35 million contract extension on Sunday.

Priority Sports, Collins’ representation, informed ESPN of the deal.

Collins, 25, is signed through the 2025-26 season. He was due to become a free agent at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

Collins recorded career-best averages in points (11.6), rebounds (6.4) and assists (2.9) in 63 games (26 starts) last season.

He is averaging 7.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 245 career games (42 starts) with the Portland Trail Blazers and Spurs. He was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga and traded to the Trail Blazers on draft night.
