Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has himself a fancy new toy. Mere weeks after parting ways with the Carolina Panthers, three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen has reportedly signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
Seattle was one of the three teams Olsen met with after it was decided he was not returning to Carolina. That list included the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins.
Realistically, this is probably Olsen’s best chance of contention among the three. That’s likely why he opted for the Pacific Northwest.
The 34-year-old tight end heads to Seattle having put up 718 receptions for 8,444 yards and 59 touchdowns in 13 NFL seasons.
