After failing to show up for the team’s offensive program, Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Ronald Leary has reportedly requested a trade from the team.

Given that Leary has not showed up for the team’s offseason activities, this is not terribly surprising.
Leary was undrafted out of Memphis in the 2012 NFL Draft and later signed by the Cowboys that season. The following year, he became a starter, starting all but one game over the 2013 and 2014 season. In 2014, Leary was a part of the Cowboys’ offensive line that was the best in the league.
That all changed in 2015.
Last season, he started and played in only four games, eventually being replaced by rookie La’el Collins. With that in mind, it’s hard to imagine that Dallas would have a difficult time parting ways with him. Unfortunately, it would also be surprising if they landed an overwhelming trade haul for him.
The good news for the Cowboys is that virtually every team would likely be interested in him in some capacity. Many teams in the league have holes in their starting offensive line, and there isn’t a single team in the league that can’t use more depth up front.
