The New England Patriots might find themselves in unchartered territory once free agency opens up around the NFL on March 18.

Six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady could depart for another NFL city after spending the past two decades in New England.

If so, Bill Belichick and Co. will have to add another veteran starter to the mix. According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, that player could very well be Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowler Andy Dalton.

By now it’s well known that Cincinnati is looking to trade Dalton. the market seems to be strong with the Chicago Bears bandied about as a possible destination. Rapoport also mentions Indianapolis Colts as a potential landing spot for the veteran.

Dalton, 32, is coming off a 2019 campaign that saw him throw for nearly 3,500 yards with just 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
