Detroit Lions left guard Jonah Jackson underwent surgery to repair a “slight” meniscus tear,” ESPN reported Monday.
The four-year starter is expected to miss Sunday’s NFC title game but could return for the Super Bowl if the Lions get past the host San Francisco 49ers.
Jackson, 26, injured his knee during Sunday’s 31-23 divisional playoff win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was replaced by Kayode Awosika.
Jackson started 12 games during the 2023 regular season and has started all 57 of his appearances since Detroit drafted him in the third round in 2020.
