With LiAngelo Ball leaving UCLA, both he and his younger brother — LaMelo Ball — are looking overseas to continue their basketball careers.

“Harrison Gaines, the representative for LaMelo, 16, and LiAngelo, 19, started initial contact with overseas teams this week, sources told Yahoo Sports,” Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reported. “For LaMelo and LiAngelo, the decision to turn pro means the end of their prospective collegiate careers. LaMelo Ball had previously committed to UCLA.”

This is an interesting decision. It will be fascinating to see the interest that the Ball brothers generate.

While only 16, LaMelo, much like older brother Lonzo Ball, is a legitimate NBA prospect. LiAngelo, on the other hand, reportedly has limited NBA prospects. So, this certainly could impact them differently.
