Report: Kirk Cousins would probably seriously consider the Browns

Kirk Cousins Cleveland Browns

Quarterback Kirk Cousins, who played a second year under franchise tender with the Washington Redskins this past season, is slated to be a free agent in March.

According to this interesting development, Cousins would “seriously consider” playing with the Cleveland Browns should a mutual interest arise.

Clearly, Cousins is not afraid to become part of a team that has won only one game in the last two seasons. The Browns would certainly be wise to explore an opportunity to sway Cousins aboard. He would be a huge upgrade over the abysmal cast of quarterbacks the Browns have been gambling with for over a decade.

After three productive seasons passing for at least 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns, Cousins will draw plenty of interest in free agency. And from the tone of this report, Cousins is already beginning to explore his options.
