New York Jets special teams captain Justin Hardee is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a hamstring injury, ESPN reported on Saturday.
Hardee sustained the injury in New York’s 31-21 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday and aggravated it in practice on Wednesday. The 29-year-old already was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles in East Rutherford, N.J.
A Pro Bowl selection in 2022, Hardee has one tackle in five games this season and 74 in 94 career games with the New Orleans Saints (2017-20) and Jets.
