Report: Greg Olsen in contract negotiations with Bills, Redskins and Seahawks

Panthers Greg Olsen

Veteran free agent tight end Greg Olsen has finished his visits and is now in contract negotiations with the Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

A player who has options outside of football, Olsen sure seems geared up to continue playing, and reportedly he’ll make his decision soon.

He is a coveted, budding broadcaster who drew rave reviews for his work covering the XFL for Fox Sports last weekend. But given the fact he’s negotiating with three teams, it appears that his broadcasting career will have to wait.

Foot injuries have slowed down Olsen’s football career in recent years, but when healthy he’s still one of the best tight ends in the game. Last season, appearing in 14 games for the Carolina Panthers, Olsen caught 52 passes for 597 yards and two touchdowns.
