When it comes to a subject as serious as domestic violence claims, it’s extremely important to proceed with caution. That’s only magnified when we look at it through the perspective of the NFL and the broader sports landscape.
With that said, the alleged ex-girlfriend of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is claiming through her Instagram account and in a police report that he’s a recent victim of domestic violence. The allegations themselves are accompanied by photos of bruises on her body.

The woman in question, Tiffany Thompson, blames Elliott for the bruises on her body and mentions him specifically in the final post.
TMZ Sports has more on the story.
“The female accuser filed a report with the Columbus PD in Ohio Friday morning … saying she was assaulted by Elliott — who she claims is her former live-in boyfriend — while sitting in the driver’s seat of her parked vehicle.”
Officers reportedly responded to the scene, at which point they interviewed four witnesses — none of whom indicated that they saw an assault take place.
Elliott has denied the allegations.
