The Atlanta Falcons, desperately seeking help for their pass rush, are reportedly signing veteran Dwight Freeney to give them a boost in this department.

Benjamin Albright of CBS Sports was the first to report this, with Ian Rapoport of NFL Media following shortly behind him with this information:

Last year, Freeney was highly productive for the Arizona, racking up eight sacks in 11 games. He was one of the top remaining free agents left on the market before Atlanta snapped him up.

While his best years are behind him at the age of 36, the spin-move champ still has some gas left in the tank as a situational pass rusher and should be a boon to Atlanta, which ranked dead last in 2015, registering just 19 sacks as a team.
