The Los Angeles Dodgers were not able to complete a Joc Pederson trade with the Los Angeles Angels, but they will still try to move him, per Bob Nightengale of USA Today Sports.
Nightengale wrote that the Angels appear to be the team that backed out of the trade while reporting this latest development.
Pederson was said to be a part of the complicated original Mookie Betts trade that eventually unfolded, before it was finally completed using a different route on Sunday. The Angels have already let the cat out of the bag with Pederson, and it seems clear they intend on moving in a different direction if they can.
